Now this is a hotel with some History!
The original building of the hotel was built in 1940 by a man from Egypt who was also the first owner and manager. In 1952 the hotel was out for sale and Mr. P. Papadopoullos (who was a merchant at the time in the nearby village of Pedoulas) bought it. Mr. Papadopoullos (now deceased) transferred the hotel over to one of his daughters in 1995. In 1953 the hotel opened under the new management and ever since it has been servicing customers from around the globe and they all stayed very satisfied, many returning in the sub sequent years while recommending the hotel to friends and family. Since 1952 the hotel has undergone several renovations/extensions. The first extension was in 1962, where an extra floor with several new rooms were added to the hotel. There were several more changes in between but the last renovation was a lot more recent, in 2009, the hotel has undergone a general makeover (adding new equipment/machinery in the kitchen and renovating the internal of all rooms and halls, adding fire alarms and smoke detectors, emergency lights, television sets, ensuite bathrooms and showers to all rooms and many other changes).
